New Year Thought
Story Published - 04.01.2012
Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,
A thought for 2012...
Through making positive changes in our lives we improve the well-being of ourselves and those we love. The challenge is to try to change those things which are barriers to us leading the happy lives we want for ourselves and our loved ones. Consider these simple questions…..I am…..
Do I spend too much time away from my family - either at work or elsewhere?
Do I spend too much of any spare money I might have on myself or on things which might damage my family? - Alcohol, cigarettes, scratch cards etc.
In spite of our monarch's Annus Horribilis in 1992... there is no such thing as a good year or a bad year... It is all about what we make of and how we respond to the opportunities and disappointments which come our way!
Why not make a decision this year to take up the challenge and bring about positive changes into your life... Spend more time with loved ones, be better examples to your children and each other... Work harder to make others happier. Study more. Do more and pray more.
Let this New Year be filled with happiness, joy and prosperity for you and all those you care for.
