Swine Flu

Story Published - 29.11.2009

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,

I have today received information from a parent who has a child in one of our Key Stage Two classes. She informed me that her child has been diagnosed today as suffering with Swine Flu.

I do not wish to cause unnecessary alarm but in these circumstances, I would ask that you are extra vigilant and seek the advice of your family doctor if your son/daughter has a high temperature and any combination of the following symptoms:

  • unusual tiredness,
  • headache,
  • runny nose,
  • sore throat,
  • shortness of breath or cough,
  • loss of appetite,
  • aching muscles,
  • diarrhoea or vomiting.

Kind Regards,

David Ashley
Headteacher
