Welcome to St Edmund's Catholic Primary School.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School, the school is a very special place which serves the area of New Church Farm.  As a staff, we strive to provide our children with the very best education which will prepare them for their future by securing better outcomes for them resulting in a positive future.  We work collaboratively with the community and other outside agencies to ensure children are looked after and receive the necessary support.

We can provide all our children with good quality provision from the age of three.  We are happy to announce that we have recently moved to offering 30 hours free nursery education for our children.  If you are interested in our nursery provision please phone the office and speak to Mrs Wild.

As a school, we value Physical Education especially swimming, therefore all children from Year Three can access a weekly swimming lesson.  We believe swimming is a life skill that ensures safety and therefore all children leaving St, Edmund's will be competent swimmers.  We also provide all of our children with eight weeks of forest school per year.  This experience encourages our children to problem solve, communicate and be resilient which are skills which can then be utilised in the classroom.

The children and staff at St. Edmund's are a joy to be with and I am sure once you have joined our school community you would feel the same too.

If there is anything you wish to know about the school please do not hesitate to get in touch.

God Bless

Mrs A Birmingham
